About Miss Wheeler

This is my fifth year teaching 1st grade. I am a lifelong resident of Elmhurst and I am a former Edison student (2008 graduate). I graduated summa cum laude from Elmhurst College in 2019 with my degree in Elementary Education and minors in Psychology and Elementary Math Education. I also played three years of collegiate tennis at Elmhurst College and I was awarded the Elmhurst College Female Scholar Athlete of the Year Award my senior year! After school, I coach Girls Tennis at York High School. Aside from teaching, I love playing and watching sports, traveling, and trying new restaurants. I look forward to working with you to make 1st grade an awesome year! :)
