CLOSING:  Edison Library

Walk-Up Window

With the return to full in-person learning on the horizon, the Edison Library Walk-Up Window will close following Spring Break.  The Walk-Up Window will be open for the last time on Friday, March 26th from 2:00-3:00.  Students will remain able to place holds on books in our Destiny Discover Catalog (see below for details and instructions).  We will deliver reserved books to classrooms as we have been this year whenever students are in the building.  With an email to Mrs. Greska (mgreska@elmhurst205.org), kinder and 1st grade parents can still request Book Bundles for classroom delivery. Remote students can continue to place holds in the catalog and then, instead of pick-up at the Walk-Up WIndow, please email Mrs. Greska (mgreska@elmhurst205.org) to arrange for library book pick-ups/drop-offs in the Edison Office for the rest of the year.  Library books can ALWAYS be returned in the Library Return Boxes in the Edison hallways.  Thanks for staying nimble with us this year!

Please see below for a video, "How to Place Holds in Destiny Discover".

On a COVID note, we quarantine all returned books for three days so you can be sure that books returned by Edison students have been appropriately quarantined before being released.

TO RETURN LIBRARY BOOKS:  All library books can be returned in the bins in the Edison hallways..

     BOOK BUNDLES!

A "Book Bundle" includes at least one picture book, one early reader and one nonfiction book.   If parents of Kinder or 1st grade parents send Mrs. Greska an email requesting a Book Bundle,  we will deliver one to the child's classroom for him or her!  We love to keep these bundles moving back and forth weekly!

On a COVID note,  we quarantine all returned books for three days so you can be sure that books returned by Edison students have been appropriately quarantined before being released.

**If you want to help your child select his or her own books for their bundle, please see below  "How to Place Holds in Destiny Discover".

HOW TO PLACE HOLDS IN DESTINY DISCOVER
